Thames Reach has teamed up with other agencies and independent bodies to produce research reports on issues surrounding homeless and vulnerable people.

White Cider and Street Drinkers (2011): A report on super-strength white ciders and the impact these drinks are having on the health of homeless people across England. The report was commissioned by Alcohol Concern, and written and researched by Tony Goodall and backed by St Mungo’s and Thames Reach.
Turning the Key (2010): The literacy toolkit and accompanying report have been written for key workers in the homelessness sector to highlight some of the practical and emotional barriers faced by people who have low level literacy skills.

Steadying the Ladder/SupportActionNet (2006):
This book and website by Lemos & Crane set out concepts and practical approaches for achieving the social and emotional aspirations of homeless and vulnerable people.
Far More Than a Bed (2005):
A thorough review of the changes in the capital’s hostels since 1990 and the issues facing them in the future, commissioned by The Pan London Providers Group and undertaken by the University of Sheffield.
Dreams Deferred (2002):
A comprehensive study into the social networks of homeless people by Lemos & Crane, in conjunction with Alone in London, St Basil’s and Thames Reach.
Single Homeless People in London (2001):
An exploration of the profile of homeless people in different settings, commissioned by Thames Reach and St Mungo’s and undertaken by the University of Sheffield.
